Location and Parking
Location: 1400 Balboa Blvd., Newport Beach, 92661
The Church office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 1pm.
Christ Church by the Sea is located on the Balboa Peninsula between the ocean and the bay.
From I 55 S: Continue South past the end of the freeway onto the Balboa Peninsula. Christ Church by the Sea is on the left midway between the Newport and Balboa piers.
From Coast Highway: Exit at Newport Blvd South onto the Balboa Peninsula Christ Church by the Sea is on the left midway between the Newport and Balboa piers.
Parking
Parking is always at a premium during peak periods of beach use. The following parking is available for those visiting or attending Christ Church by the Sea.
Front Parking Lot. Space for 14 cars. Church and Children's Center parking only.
Enter from 14th Street (one way toward Balboa Blvd)
Back Parking Lot. Space for about 30 cars. Parking for Worship and special events.
Enter from alley behind Church. (Used as playground during the week.)
Street Parking. Metered and unmetered parking is available on Balboa Blvd and adjacent side streets. Meters on Balboa Blvd, from 13th to 15th Street, are free of charge on Sundays until 1:00 PM.
For weddings and special events, additional parking can be arranged in nearby lots.
