“How is it with Your Soul?” Online Prayer/Spirituality Get-Together (via Zoom)
We have started a new online group for prayer and sharing of our spiritual lives with one another. We begin each session with John Wesley’s question with which he opened groups of Methodists who met together for sharing of prayer and spiritual growth: “How is it with your soul?” We meet each Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock.
If you miss any of our Sunday Morning Worship Services, you can view them online on our church website by using the link below. Note that this page is updated each Sunday by 12 noon. christbytheseanb.org/weekly-worship/
COVID POLICY We are following the California State Guidelines and asking everyone to wear masks while inside the church.
If you are not feeling well, please stay home and view our service on our YouTube Livestream or watch the replay on the church website.
For the time being, we will observe “wearing a mask while indoors,” in order to make sure that everyone is safe in our sanctuary. Our Leadership Team has been working diligently to plan our re-opening by following the United Methodist Church’s guidelines for safety.
May God bless Christ Church by the Sea and each of you.
MORNING “Searching the Scriptures”: Online Bible Study (via Zoom)
When the disciples at Emmaus realized that the risen Jesus had just taught them a new way to read and understand the Bible, they exclaimed: “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?” (Luke 24:32).
Each week, many of us here at Christ Church by the Sea have a similar experience as we study the Bible together and probe its meaning. Join us Monday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Just tell Lori or Pastor Paul that you want to become a part of our fun online group as we read and discuss some of the classic stories from the Old Testament.
